UFC Matthews #SweatDate

When I hear UFC, my mind is immediately populated with images of fighting, blood, cages, mohawks and full body beat downs. What I never thought about, prior to checking out UFC Matthews was that these people are in amazing shape and while I may not be ready for the ring, I could definitely benefit from some of the training methods.

We checked out UFC Matthews Fight Fit class. It's a one of a kind class where I learned the basic MMA skills with a cardio kick. A 60 minute class, Fight Fit is broken down into 5 - 5 minute rounds simulating a real UFC Championship fight. Add in warm-up, cool down and some short breaks in-between rounds and you have a heart pumping, full body workout knocked out before you know it. Each class is different and the equipment utilized ranges from grappling dummies to hanging bags, and jump ropes.

A fully equipped studio, you'll find water fountains, knowledgeable and helpful staff, free weights and machines, bathrooms and even their own fight ring! Whether you're a beginner fresh off the couch or a professional fighter, you'll find something to challenge yourself with here at UFC Matthews!
