Just what you asked for Charlotte, Another Smoothie Shop | Grabbagreen

When I saw an ad about a new smoothie place that opened in Charlotte, I couldn't help but think, "ANOTHER smoothie shop?" I remember when frozen yogurt was a big thing, and now smoothie shops are popping up everywhere. Regardless, there must be some appeal because a couple of days later, I caved and went to check it out.
Located at the EpiCenter, Grabbagreen boasts high foot traffic and a convenient location. Remember Yoforia? me neither, but if you really really try to remember (or at least nod your head and pretend)...it was located on the main level, right on the corner, across from CVS. THAT is where Grabbagreen moved in.
The first thing that struck me was how spacious Grabbagreen is (compared to other smoothie/juice places which have MAYBE 5 tables total). This one has plenty of tables and seats available, both inside and outside. Also, the inside looked immaculate, and smelled like a fresh garden.

The next thing I noticed was their massive menu! I mean, aside from the obvious options a regular smoothie shop would carry (pressed juices+acai cups and obviously smoothies), I was pleasantly surprised to see a big food menu. I’m glad to report that there are options to satisfy the pickiest of us. I promise. From breakfast wraps, to quinoa cakes, to grain salads and green ones, I stood there for a few minutes just reading over the food menu. If you get easily overwhelmed by big menus because you like to choose from 3 items (not 28), then this place may not be your cup of tea. But for the rest of us people who prefer having options...it was refreshing to actually have a decent amount of menu items to pick from.
I ended up having an acai bowl, which came in a cup - not sure why their definition of “bowl” is slightly different, but it’s the product not that packing that matters, right? And that, my friends, was delicious to its last spoonful.

So, cheers to yet another smoothie shop in Charlotte. They may be a fad, but they are tasty and healthy one at that. Grabbagreen is bigger and with all of their food options...maybe not just a smoothie shop….you’ll have to try it out yourself.
Their hours: Mon - Thur 7a - 9p; Fri 7a -10; Sat 9a - 10p; Sun 9a - 9p. Website CLICK HERE
P.S. Word on the street is...there’s one coming soon to Dilworth.
